Hello and welcome to my website.
If you are visiting my website then perhaps you or someone you love is experiencing some difficulty in your life which has got to the point where you feel you need some outside support. No matter how well intentioned and loving friends and family might be, sometimes we need to talk to someone who isn’t involved in our lives.
I know that taking that first step to talk to a therapist can be incredibly daunting and scary but it might turn out to be the best decision you could make. Just talking to someone who can create a space for you to be yourself and open up fully, someone who focuses completely and non judgmentally on you, can be a powerful and healing experience.
I am an integrative psychotherapist and hypnotherapist. That just means that I have a number of tools in my box and don’t rely on a ‘one size fits all’ approach. I use a person centred approach so the work we do together would be tailored to you as an individual. It might include CBT, Psychoanalysis, Hypnotherapy, mindfulness and creative work. As well as all that, thanks to extensive professional development training, I can offer a trauma informed approach including the use of a technique called Rewind which is highly effective for PTSD, nightmares and flashbacks.
I can offer a space for you, a space to heal. Take that step and come and talk to me and we can explore how I can help.
I am currently conducting most appointments by telephone or via Zoom video calls.
However, occasionally these methods are not appropriate. If that is the case, I can see clients for face to face appointments.
I have conducted risk assessments and am able to take all measures necessary to ensure the safety of both the client and myself.
